What we hold when you ask about a racket.

When you email or message us we receive whatever you choose to send: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the product or SKU you asked about, quantity, and the notes that make a racket quote possible. Those notes usually include string tension in lbs, string gauge, grip size, balance preference, frame stiffness if you know it, junior player height and age, and your court surface. We keep them because they are the quote.

Our servers also write standard logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, timestamps and error codes. Logs are for security and uptime, not for profiling. We do not run advertising pixels, we do not embed social plugins, and we do not load fonts or scripts from third-party CDNs on this site.

If we string a frame for you, or if you claim a fault, we record the set-up with the order: tension in lbs, gauge and string model, knot type, grip size and any build-up layers, the date of the string job, and the frame model and serial if the supplier provides one. Order correspondence, photographs of a cracked frame and courier paperwork are filed with the same record.

This matters because a warranty claim about a frame that failed at 26 lbs after eight months cannot be judged without knowing what was strung and when. The record is kept with the order so we can compare a second string job against the first, and so a claim is decided on evidence rather than memory.

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. A session cookie may be used to keep a short-lived cart selection and a form state between page loads; it expires when you close the browser. If you block cookies entirely the pages still work, because nothing here depends on tracking you. There is no consent wall to click through and no dark pattern hiding a reject button.

We use enquiry data to answer you, to quote a frame set-up, to arrange shipping, to handle a return or a warranty claim, and to keep the accounting records Hong Kong law expects. Under the PDPO the grounds are straightforward: your consent when you write to us, the performance of a contract when you accept a quote, our legal duty for tax and company records, and a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and the desk accountable.

Our mailbox provider carries email. A courier receives the delivery name, address and phone number, and nothing else. Our bank and, where a payment is made by transfer, the receiving institution see the invoice reference and amount. A stringer receives the frame and the tension sheet if the work is done outside our own bench. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not pass a customer list to anyone for marketing.

Some service providers store data on servers outside Hong Kong. Where that happens we keep the transfer to the minimum needed to run the service, and we choose providers with contractual protections. Email is the main channel; if you prefer that your racket notes never leave Hong Kong, tell us and we will keep the correspondence in our local mailbox and quote from there.

Enquiries that never became an order are deleted after 24 months. Invoices and payment records are kept for seven years because Hong Kong company and tax rules require it. Server logs roll off after 90 days unless a security incident needs them longer, and then only that incident's logs are held.

You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. You may withdraw consent for future marketing at any time, though we do not run marketing lists in the first place. Write to JINGHE1910@outlook.com and we will confirm within one working day and complete the request within 40 days, as the PDPO allows. We may ask you to prove you are the person in the record before we release anything.

Tell us first; most issues are a misfiled email. If we cannot settle it, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong. Nothing in this notice limits a right you have under the PDPO.

We quote junior frames regularly, and a parent or coach normally writes on the child's behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child under 16, and we do not need a child's email address to size a 25 inch frame. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
